About the Position
LTSA is a private school combining Experiential Learning and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) integration into our classroom instruction. Our Students attend classes 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday.
Our curriculum is based on Experiential Lessons that are STEM centered and emphasizes inquiry-based learning, problem solving, and the development of 21st century skills.
Hours are flexible, teachers can choose how many classes they would like to teach.
Core Skills & Requirements:
The successful applicant is a creative, experiential facilitator that can integrate STEM and experiences to give lessons real world application.
Enjoys working in a highly collaborate “hands on” classroom.
Loves learning, and is excited and passionate about alternative ways to make learning fun!
Is highly organized, and driven.
Is interested in creating curriculum and integrating lessons/projects across the other areas of study.
Is a team player, and avid collaborator.
Has experience teaching multilevel elementary classes.
