Using multiple media, including pastels, students will recreate museum masterpieces and draw other pictures in the style of artists ranging from Picasso, Van Gogh, Grandma Moses, Any Warhol and more. January 2019 – Monsters, Creatures and Creeps

Laugh-out-loud funny! Mind-bendingly-creepy! Eerie-but-exciting! If your child is a fan of creepy, crawly monsters, this month-long, multimedia workshop is the perfect fit. Over the course of the workshop, your child will learn to draw and cartoon a variety of characters and even complete a large composition using pastels. They will learn to draw monsters of all shapes, sizes and colors. There are big monsters...and little monsters! Furry monsters …and scaly monsters! If we can imagine a monster, we’ll draw it!

February 2019 – Enchanted Wizard Academy

If your child likes Harry Potter, they will love this workshop. Be prepared to be whisked away to an enchanted academy where nothing is as it seems. Experience the majesty of the great dining hall as our students illustrate a beautiful graphic. Amuse yourself in the not-so-ordinary life of the academy with a plethora of cartoon drawings. From drawing an enchanted forest to a day at the races with dragons, it’s nothing but fun in our classroom. We will also expose students to pastel chalks as they create a whimsical drawing of a phoenix.

March 2019 – Animal Kingdom

Zoo animals, farm animals, jungle animals and ocean animals galore. If your child is a fan of anything with fur, fins or wings, this drawing workshop is for them. We’ll draw a variety of animals using both realistic and cartooning styles, and showcase the splendor of the animal kingdom with a beautiful pastel project to boot. Animals are fantastic subject matter for practicing a variety of drawing techniques (close up portraits, figure drawings and animals in profile), making this a perfect mix of learning and fun.
